He found photography to be an avenue to get to the music which he so deeply loved.

He will have a permanent plaque at Red Rocks backstage.

John put 150% into everything he did. He touched everyone who knew him and we all miss him deeply.

John was a Professional Photographer in Colorado from 1990 to 2006. 

His imaging repertoire included the mediums 35mm, Digital Still, and Digital Video.

He had been a photographer at Red Rocks since 1994. He also shot at many other local arenas including: The Pepsi Center, Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre, Gothic Theatre, The Fillmore Auditorium, Mc Nichols Arena, The Buell Theatre, Denver Coliseum, The Ogden Theater, The Blue Bird and for local radio stations: KBPI, KAZY, KTCL, KOOL, KYGO. Internationally, he has shot Video and Photo in Jamaica, Columbia, Mexico, Costa Rica, for MSC Cruise Lines with Gold and Platinum performers.

John was a Sponsor and Still Photographer for the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon Sept 4th & 5th, 2005.

For 2006, he recruited and coordinated photographic talent for the event.

John profiled major artists and events ranging from the Visit of the President to the Rolling Stones .
